New Release of SAP Business One Application Eases Connections to Mobile Devices, Partner Applications and Cloud
SAP NEWSBYTE – June 21, 2011 – SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) today announced the 8.81 release of the SAP Business One application, designed to help small businesses grow. The new release features improvements that SAP is adding across its various product lines, including mobility, ease in development of partner applications and social networking. First customers such as Virtual Graffiti, Inc. are gaining improvements in visibility across the organization and control of inventory.
SAP Business One 8.81 offers enhanced features in areas such as:
- Mobility – Customers can extend their core applications via multiple mobile technologies that are supported in the latest version of the software. Customers can achieve insight and take action whenever and wherever they need.
- Partner enablement – Customers can work more effectively with the SAP partner ecosystem to build applications, as the latest version of SAP Business One offers integration to more sophisticated add-on applications and vertical industry solutions. The new release also features enhancements in the software development kit (SDK), SAP Business One studio, to help accelerate co-innovation with partners. For business analytics, SAP Crystal Reports and SAP Crystal Dashboard Design software are now fully integrated into SAP Business One, allowing partners to leverage these functions with industry-specific content on top.
- Integration framework – Customers obtain constant access to their most important data through integration and collaboration with SAP Business One 8.81 and on demand, cloud, mobile devices, Web services, collaboration tools and social networks. The application unifies business processes and automates operations across an organization while the enhancements deliver rapid implementation with out-of-the-box business scenarios.
